LOUIS M. GIORDANO, D.D.S.
Louis M. Giordano, D.D.S. was raised in Endwell, New York and graduated from Maine-Endwell High School. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University at Buffalo in 1991. Upon graduation, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Buffalo General Hospital. Dr. Giordano entered into private practice in 1992. He currently resides in Endwell, New York with his wife and 5 children.
Dr. Giordano participates in approximately 100 hours of continuing dental education every year. This allows him to remain current on the latest techniques and procedures through extensive participation in continuing advanced dental courses, workshops, and seminars. Dr. Giordano earned his Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Buffalo, has taught technique and clinical skills, and published a paper on the restorative dental research.
Dr. Giordano is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, International Association for Orthodontics, New York State Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Broome County Dental Society.
SHANNON M. ROMA DE ANGELO
Office Manager, CDA, BKP
Shannon has been a Clinical Assistant for 28 years and at the side of Dr. Louis M. Giordano for the last 21 years. She is the Office Manager of both Giordano Dental and Southern Tier TMJ & Sleep Therapy. Shannon has been a student at SUNY Binghamton, Broome Community College and the International College of Healing Arts. She has completed more than 1000 Continuing Education hours and is a Certified First Line Therapist and Board Certified Energy Kinesiologist. She served as the Children’s Dental Health Month Program Coordinator for the Sixth District Dental Society for more than 10 years. Shannon has a history rich in Theatre and Television and has performed throughout the USA and Europe. She integrates this history with her passion for dentistry to create unique programs for the dental practice and the dental community.
JESSICA, RDH, DA
Jess is a Dental Hygienist & Assistant who comes to us after working for Dr. Carman for 27 years, who has since retired. She graduated from SUNY Broome with Honors in 1991 and has had several years of orthodontic continuing education and is a member of the International Association of Orthodonticts. She also has a certification in soft tissue laser diode, as well as extensive periodontal therapy and pharmacology continuing education. She enjoys practicing in all aspects of dentistry , and looks forward to learning about more about TMJ and Sleep therapy. Jess and her husband have 2 grown children and are expecting their first grandchild this Fall! Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at their family lake house, baking, traveling, and anything that involves being outdoors.
SUE GRASSI, RDH
Sue started her dental career in Fort Campbell, KY as a volunteer dental assistant with the Red Cross. She continued assisting in New York, then decided to continue with her dental career by going to Broome Community College for dental hygiene. She’s worked for Dr. Giordano since March 2002. She lives in Owego with her husband Tom and her two grandchildren Kaitlyn and Krystina.
HEATHER LINDEMANN, RDH
Heather is a Registered Dental Hygienist with additional training and certification in Dental Hygiene Anesthesia. She enjoys helping people achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Heather keeps up-to-date through a variety of continuing education courses that keep her job interesting and exciting. Heather is married with two children, two dogs, and whatever critters her kids bring home.
DINA
Dina is a life-long resident of Endicott. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Binghamton University. Dina began figure skating at the age of 7. She competed in every element of skating but her passion was Ice Dancing with her partner Ted. Dina lives with her husband Tom and is the mother of two grown sons and two stepchildren.
She has worked in the Dental and Medical fields, both in the clinic and in management, for the last 30 years. Dina enjoys medical billing and goes above and beyond to help our medical patients get the insurance benefits owed to them.
ALEXANDRA
Front Desk & Account Management
Born and raised in Binghamton, Alex comes to us with an extensive background in Customer Service/Sales, Training and Account Management. Having worked in a corporate environment for many years Alex brings a unique perspective and experience to the practice. Her cheerful, “people person” attitude helps put people at ease. She genuinely cares about you and your experience with us. Alex also serves on the Board of Directors for a local community theater group, and has been performing and singing for most of her life. When not at work or on stage Alex resides in Endicott with her husband Freddy.
